Quiet Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps because I'm old and a creature of habit, I prefer the Kitchen Aid that I had before. The controls were easier and the loading was simple.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet but Wet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old hotpoint had a drying cycle and plate warmer option. This Bosch does not so even though I changed the cycle settings as instructed there is still a lot of water on the plastics and in the unit. I leave my door open to let the water evaporate which for the amount of money spent on this unit should not be necessary.

Over all I am very happy with this dishwasher!

It does a great job of getting dishes clean and not streaking glassware.
It saves water – as well as using very little water in the washing cycle, I do not need to do much pre-rinsing of dishes.
It saves energy - condensation drying means there is no heating element for drying, as well as no restrictions on where to load dishwasher safe plastics.
It is very quiet.
My only recommended improvement would be better rack structure for supporting items like cereal bowls.

Wonderful

He works for a big company that builds apartment buildings, he said, that is what we use! I decided to go with the Bosch, oh boy, was he right! So quiet, unbelievable, and an all the way around great dishwasher! No regrets here!

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ascenta dishwasher is terrific. It's quiet, the cleaning is superb-much better than our last, the cleaning time is reasonable, about 2 hours, and the countdown clock is a plus. The tynes were quite different from our last, quite specific and varied as opposed to the open plan of our last. At first it was a learning process on how to load but after a few tries we found that we were able to fit more dishes per load. This is especially true for plates as the close spacing of the tynes permits a great number. The only flaw, a small one, is the door spring is a bit too strong. The door will pull shut unless opened over halfway.

A good dishwasher at a reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very quiet dishwasher and does a great job at cleaning dishes. The only thing I would change is the silverware basket. The top of my old dishwasher's silverware basket flipped up to hold odd-sized utensils, i.e., pizza cutter, whisks, etc.
