Excellent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Bosch Ascenta dishwasher. It is very quiet. We can watch TV in the adjoining living room and not even hear it running. It has several features my wife really likes, such as a light telling us to ad more JetDry. She likes the rack arrangement (once she got used to it being different than other dishwashers we've had). We tried all of the different cycles, but go back to the Auto Wash for most of our dishes. It senses the amount of leftover food on the dishes and adjusts the cycle time accordingly. The final rinse heats the water to 162 degrees, then the stainless steel walls draw the moisture away from the dishes so they are dry when we open the door. When first installed the display stays on 00:00 time left at the end of the cycle, but in the instruction manual you can change that to the light going off after two hours. I changed it to doing that, so now when the cycle ends, the light stays on for two hours, then goes off. That tells my wife the drying cycle is also finished, and when she opens the door the dishes are dry, even the plastic ones. You need to allow about four hours for the Auto Wash cycle, from start to the end of the dry cycle. If we do the dishes after supper she unloads it the next morning, all dry.

Excellent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice and quiet; cleans and dries great. Only downside is racks are designed more to handle many plates but not to handle many soup bowls.

Works very nice. Only thing is that the silverware trays are the wrong ones according to the user manual. They don't fit. How do I get the correct ones?

Good dishwasher

The dishwasher works good. It takes 2 1/2 hours, but it gets most of the dishes clean.

I hate it! The racks are awful!! The bottom rack won't stay on track! I can't get the sanitizer button to work!! Wouldn't recommend it!

Very nice equipment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old machine stopped working just before a houseful of company on Thanksgiving. We had a little problem in our appliances are white not the more common stainless steel and that made finding a replacement difficult. We knew we wanted a Bosch from reviews and a recommendation from our friend who is a retired appliance business owner. I started looking at the more expensive top of the line models but could not find available units in white. We were able to find this Ascenta unit in white, and was quite a bit less expensive. It was installed in time for Thanksgiving and to my surprise the cleaning quality is excellent. My problem with this particular piece of equipment is there is no external long Handel. Where is a fellow supposed to hang is old dish towel.
