Happy with Ascenta Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our builder-installed GE diswasher from 2003 failed, we selected this Bosch dishwasher becasue we believed it to be an upgrade. After a few months of usage we have found it to be an upgrade primarly due to it being much quieter than the previous unit. Never had any issues with curent or previous unit in getting dishes clean so it is hard to say if new unit cleans better that the old one.
The main basket rack has narrower tines that our previous unit, so it is taking some experimentation to get them to fit on properly.
The spring action while opening the door is tighter than the previous unit but that is likely because the old unit worn out. We both feel the door latch is a bit tighter to release than we would like, but we are hoping it will loosen up over time.

Replacement Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace my 20+ Bosch dishwasher and wanted another Bosch since I had such good luck with my original one. The new one fit perfectly in the cabinet space. It is SO quiet, you don't realize it is even running. Good price and value

Washes great, holds little

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's very quiet and cleans dishes without rinsing, even after several days of sitting in the dishwasher. But the design is terrible: it holds about 2/3 of my previous dishwasher and you can't load things like cups in a way that avoids wet bottoms after the drying cycle is finished. I'd give it 3.5 starts

Not what I expected, sorry to say

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited for my dishwasher to arrive for months. Not Bosch's fault but the shipping issue. I was so looking forward to using it as I'd always heard great things about Bosch dishwashers. I bought it online without actually seeing it (my mistake). The rack design is horrible. The tines are at an angle and close together. I have watched videos on loading but still very unhappy with the set up. I have never had such an awkward experience with any other brand of dishwasher. I have made adjustments where possible but the design is, in my opinion, flawed. The good thing is that it is quiet and does clean my dishes well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It holds do many more dishes than my old one so one load does everything. And the best thing is that it cleans so well. No handwashing anything! I have an open kitchen plan and you don't hear any noise. I love it!
