Unbelievably clean

I love my Bosch Ascenta dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Bosch Ascenta dishwasher is so quiet I hardly hear it running. It cleans my dishes perfectly (and I only lightly scrap the food off before loading them). I love the way the dishes dry almost instantaneously when I open the door right after the cycle finishes (I use the delay start to be sure I am home when the cycle has ended). It is nice that Bosch furnishes the water and drain hoses and the electric cord with the unit. My only complaint is that the installation instructions are minimal, but since I removed my old dishwasher, I figured out what to do with a little trial and error. Also, there is no owner's manual provided with the machine, but I found a PDF copy on the internet.
I would recommend a Bosch Ascenta to my friends and family (and have already done so).

How Dry I Am (not)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my Bosch with a Bosch because the old model was wonderful. The new model gets my dishes very clean. It's very, very quiet. It was easy to install and the price was affordable. But the new method of drying dishes is not a favorite for me. The dishes get dry, but the dishwasher is a continuous box of humidity. It never really dries out--even if I leave it open and empty for hours. I'm sure this was an energy-saving innovation. But I don't like a swampy dishwasher that in the Louisiana heat and humidity sometimes smells not-so-fresh.
