Much quieter than old dishwasher.

Unexpectedly good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely do this. But I had to after my little dishwasher test. I read in the manual that there was no need to rinse the dishes. I thought, yeah right! So, the next morning I put our breakfast dishes in without rinsing, the dishes had dried on egg yolk and remnants of our grits. The dishes sat all day and I set the dishwasher to run at 3 AM. The next morning the dishes came out sparkling clean. I thought, no way. So, that afternoon my wife made baked scalloped potatoes. This time I felt I was going to beat the dishwasher the casseroles had baked on and burnt cheese, milk and potatoes. The next morning, I lost. The casseroles were sparkling clean, no scrubbing, rinsing, or anything else. This bottom of the line Bosch runs circles around the whirlpool we are replacing. And to think we bought it as a last resort because we couldn't find anything else, and it was the cheapest one. Great find.

Very quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace my old broken dishwasher, and my local appliance shop recommended this model. It is way better than my old model. This Bosch washes cleaner and runs quieter than any model that I've ever heard. I highly recommend this washer for anyone on a budget and looking for an upgrade from their old tired dishwasher.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our old dishwasher died, I went to consumer reports, like I do with everything. The Bosch Ascenta is rated #1. Even a point or two above Bosch's more expensive models. The dishwasher performs wonderfully. At first, we were concerned with the drying because our old one had a heat coil but that one was 30 years old. This one dries by condensation and if we open it right when the cycle is over, the dishes are still wet. We turn it on at bed time and when we get up everything is dry. Great price. I do wish everthing wasn't made out of plastic but now a days that's just the norm. We'll see how long it last.

Best Dishwasher Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned quite a few dishwashers over the past 38 yrs. The Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher is by far the BEST I've ever had. It's super quiet, easy to use, gets my dishes clean the 1st time, never have any laying water on them & for all of that it wasn't so expensive

A quiet superstar

We upgraded our installation, and the dishwasher is a dream. I get so many more dishes cleaned in one round, and the machine is so quiet. It sounds like a light rain shower. We're delighted with our purchase and would highly recommend this unit.

Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this dishwasher to replace a KitchenAid that had served us for 27 years. The Bosch was easy to install and looks great in our kitchen. We have ran it approximately a dozen cycles so far. The quietness is amazing and the performance on the various cycle options has been perfect. Even the delicate cycle produces beautiful results. This machine looks great, is easy to use, is very very quiet, is easy to use and performs outstanding. Now if we can get years of service out of it!
