[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Bosch dishwasher. It is the third Bosch dishwasher we have owned in three different houses. It cleans the dishes great, and it dries them well without a heating element.

it was the only white dishwasher in the store I went to four or five stores the selection was terrible everything was stainless steel if other white dishwashers were readily available I would probably return this it's quiet the exterior is attractive and it's very quiet, the interior sucks, the basket is a waste of space, the plate holders are too small to hold anything but a small saucer or a children's tea set, the picture in the instruction book does not fit how the basket is truly configured, in order to get a luncheon plate in you have to remove the silverware basket, all the prongs to hold plates are on a 10° angle, the top basket has a double set of wheels which is nice so you could raise or lower the top basket if you have larger cookware however it's got an obtuse plastic handle in the front which is a waste of space, the top of the basket has lumps of wire in the bottom of it, I can't put little my little bowls in there, it's over engineered, for very specific items, most dishware sets nowadays come with dinner plates luncheon plates and mugs no saucers, only little saucers would fit in the bottom rack next to the silverware trays, the silverware trays are terrible too, there's two of them, a waste of space, and the insides of each one have a small reservoir on each end and a large opening in the middle so your silverware flops around, the quick start book came with no instructions on removing the top racks long utensil tray nor were there any instructions on removing the top of the cutlery trays on the bottom there were no instructions on opening the reservoir for the soap, fyi there's a button to push, would not recommend
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Dishwasher

A lot to like in this Bosh dishwasher, but a few improvements are needed.
Under counter installation needs a much better side-to-side anchor(s) configuration. The steel "clips" provided are inadequate.
The good attributes of this machine are many. Quiet, easy, and intuitive control panel. All of the hoses, clamps, electrical connection are goood quality and allow for a logical installation process. Filters are easy to service. Racks are smaller than my previous machine. This dishwasher is NOT recommended should you have a large family.
Finally, this Bosh does a great job getting dishes clean; even on the shorter cycles. Overall, it's a pretty good little dishwasher. Will service a family of four or fewer, very well.

Bosch Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the DW did a fine job of washing on the regular cycle. Haven't tried any other cycles yet. My reason for 4 stars is the required used of rinse agent. I try very hard not to buy products in plastic bottles and rinse agents seem to only come in plastic. I don't NEED a rinse agent and that's the only negative I have, so far, about the Ascenta.
