Best thing I ever bought

I bought a samsung fridge a few years ago and was so impressed with it that I only will buy samsung appliances now. This dishwasher is the quietest thing I have ever seen. You don't even know its running and it gets the dishes sparkling clean. What more could you ask for, end of story!

Overall good basic dishwasher

We purchased the black model and so far it has performed quite well. We like the quietness during the wash and rinse cycles. The buttons on the front panel are easy to read. The one thing that is not very well defined is that the quick cycle is not very "quick" compared to the normal cycle, so it may depend on how many dishes you have to wash. We found it takes about the same amount of time (90 min or so) for both normal and quick cycles. We use the sanitize button to help with drying the dishes, since it does not have an extra heat/dry cycle. But for the price we paid, we are satisfied with the dishwasher.

We've had this dishwasher about a month now and we love it. The top tray has two settings for larger dishes or pans. The bottom tray has collapsible sections for larger pots or bowls. The stainless steel looks great in the kitchen with our other appliances and it's super quiet. We used to have to close a door between our kitchen and the den. I have since taken the door off and put it in the attic. From the den we only hear the washer when it drains water into the disposal and that's no big deal. We didn't find much use for the covers on top of the silverware trays to separate the utensils so we just took them off. It's a great unit for the price. We're very happy with our Samsung dishwasher.
