Smelly Dishwasher

Purchased in July 2015, if dirty dishes are left in dishwasher for a couple of days as soon as you open the door a nasty smelly odor is released. I clean my dishes before they are put in the dishwasher so its not like the dishes are dirty with caked on food or anything. Also seems like the bottom of the tub is always wet and a filmy residue left behind. Had a repair man out twice, the first time he replaced something but I still have the same issue, the bottom of the tub doesn't look like it drains all the way and it smells. that is the worst part. i can't imagine having people over for dinner and then go to clean up and open the door to my dishwasher for that odor to come pooring out. Never buy Samsung again!!

Dishwasher failed almost exactly when the warranty expired.
Pros: very quiet now

Gets dishes very clean. Operation is almost silent. If you listen closely it has a very quiet hum but no additional noise when filling, washing or draining. .I do not miss drying element but then I wash dishes at night and empty in the morning. Had a minor issue with the soap dispenser that was replaced under warranty.
Overall the design and performance is great. No need to spend more.

Love the dishwasher except for 1 thing. The dishwasher doesn't adjust in height so there is a gap between my counter top and the top of the dishwasher and the installer split the wood under my counter top screwing it on because it was so far away from the screw.
Pros: Inexpensive

I have owned this dishwasher for two months and love the operation and quietness but the electronics went bad - would not turn off. The "heavy" light kept flashing and the motor kept humming without stopping. I even turned off the circuit breaker to interrupt it and it still wouldn't go off. Reverted to calling Samsung and ordering a repair.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, quiet dishwasher
