I like most everything about this microwave. Has many options: vent, light, clock, choice of food to be nuked. Only drawback is poor door design. Glass front goes to edge of door and I accidently hit it on my last GE microwave taking out a bowl from inside and the glass shattered. Also, the glass plate that sits inside sits on a very flimsy rotator and it is difficult to place the plate back on the rotator because it scoots around while you are trying to put the plate on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love how this microwave looks in our new home. It has great quick select features that takes the guessing away from cook time on certain foods. Easy to clean, and looks very nice with the GE oven we purchased as well.

Great features for the price. I wish it had automatic fan like the spacemaker models. I also wish the products came with charcoal filters pre-installed.

Rotating Plate Does not Stay on Track or Gear

Food and beverages cause rotating glass plate to come off track and stop spinning every time. Food therefore cooks unevenly or burns or dries out.

Love the non metal upper rack and turn style even cooker also. Runs like a heavy duty champ! Timing is true on heating up freezer burger with bread, tricky so we are very pleased.
