MY FAMILY FEELS UNSAFE WITH SAMSUNG.

after having house fire we moved and needed new appliances. we chose samsung for its name. (should have read the reviews first) we purchased a washer and dryer set. the dryer is used for delicate and light items only( jeans, towels, and swears are air-dried to save electricity.) i put a load into the dryer and went away for the weekend. came to home the dryer was still running, what an unsettling feeling. we could have had another fire on top of a huge electric bill. the dryer does not shut off or heat it just keeps running and running. it just turned 3 years old. we had to unplug it to stop running. we feel very unsafe and unhappy with samsung. there should be a recall before something really bad happens to someone.

BROKEN DRYER, WILL NOT SHUT OFF

I bought a dryer just about 3 years ago, and it will not shut off. It's broken. It ran for 2 days and did not shut off I had to unplug it. How sill Samsung make it right?

appliance is broken and does not generate heat anymore and is out of warranty after one calendar year. multiple heating elements were installed to try and fix the issue but were not successful. there are better options available on the market.

the compny only offers a year warrenty on their dryer. i should have researched the product and read the reviews on it dirst. a year and a month after the warrenty expired the dryer ran continously and the clothes were still wet. i researched it and found the common issue fir this is the sensor board. replaced it and a year later the same problem occured. if this is a knows issue samsung, recall the product or replace the bad board with a good one .
i m very disppointed, why isnt it recalled for a defective board ?
i would not recommend purchasing a samsung .

Doesn't work for long

we bought this dryer 2-3 years ago. just after the warranty expired, the heating element went out. my husband ordered a new one on 3/4/21 and replaced the bad one a few weeks later. it is now 3/9/22 and it has gone out again. samsung is great with phones, but not appliances.

this is the worst dryer i have purchased. after less than 2 years of having this dryer. it stop getting hat and drying our clothes. would not recommend this dryer at all.

got both washer and dryer. my washer messed up right at the 1 year mark it was no longer under warranty doesnt wash clothes good i would still have deodorant on my shirts or makeup around the collar of my shirts. 6 months later my dryer has now stopped working before it stopped working it wasn't drying good at all don't waste your time or money on these

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I see you have some concerns with the washer and dryer not cleaning and drying properly. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

If your dryer is heating, but the clothes are still damp, your vent is probably blocked. And if your dryer ends after only a couple of minutes with soaking wet clothes, your moisture sensors could be dirty. Please see the link for more details.

When you do laundry, you should consider the weight of each load you wash to get the best results. Both heavy and light items can overload your washing machine and dryer.
