Terrible Product, Broken Twice

Have had it for 5 years and have ready had to take it apart twice. First time about 2 years in, belt pulley wheel broke. Cheap plastic part but required a full disassemble and it's not fun getting the belt back around the drum. Second time the heating element broke. Terrible access to get parts in and out. Never again with Samsung appliances. I recommend getting something better instead of paying more for repairs in the long run.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate this dryer!!!! Some times it works, but most time it doesn’t want to dry my clothes. It will stop its cycle thinking it’s dry.. Samsung in general is a bad brand.

We purchased this dryer a few years ago. The heat element went out in Nov 2021, we replaced it. It has now gone out again….

Great wash selections!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two and a half weeks ago because my washer broke after moving it into our new home (being first time home owners). This is a newer model of my samsung I had previous---and I love it. Only thing I don't really like is the red digital numbers. My previous machine had the blue digital numbers.

Don't buy gas dryer #DV0J3000EW/A2-00!

I bought a gas dryer three years ago (#DV0J3000EW/A2-00). The motor just went out and it will cost at least half the price I paid for it new. What a hassle! No dryer for a family of five for weeks. Yippee, I get to go outside and hang clothes in 95 degree weather with sky-high humidity! I didn't even live like this in college. I should add that there have been many times that it does not dry well. Samsung will tell you that you are using the wrong cycle. Way to go, blame the customer.
I would have given no stars but that was not an option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Go buy a different brand

Bought this washer/dryer set not too long ago, and after replacing the heating element 50 eleven times, I have decided to go buy a different model. I have literally had to replace this heating element every 6 months if not less. Granted I do a lot of laundry, I have 4 kids and 4 foster kids and we dirty up some laundry. I'm so sick of having to replace the heating element and fuses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
