It's so easy to access everything

This is replacing a side by side which I hated. I can't believe how readily accessible everything is. It's also so bright, I don't think I will ever loose something in here. Love the Cool Select Pantry. I would recommend this refrigerator freezer to anyone.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive

Bought my Samsung the end of May 2018. Never purchased a Samsung appliance before. I have been a fairly loyal Whirlpool fan. I have one (Whirlpool) still going strong 33 years later. Woke up this morning and thought someone was running a power-washer compressor outside. It was the freezer motor. 36 degrees in freezer. Bakery on top shelf totally defrosted. Condensation throughout. Savior was the two Yeti 4 pound ices that I had in there, and even they were melting. Totally emptied the freezer which gave the motor a ten minute rest. NOW it is working. That should NOT be the resolution! Never expected that a freezer would fail on any decent brand at 3 months. SO disappoointed since I really have been loving this frig until today. Let's see how Samsung backs their product!

1st the ice maker freezing over. then the water stopped working. next the refrigerator, stopped cooling to the appropriate temperature. puddles under the pantry drawers and ice build up on back wall

nice fridge but ice machine sucks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i've had my fridge for a few years now. we have always had problems with the ice maker freezing over. i usually have to thaw it with a hair dryer. finally after 3 years of ownership metal and plastic pieces we saw in our glasses. there's no more warranty now and the part is expensive to replace.

Ice maker always freezes up and quits making ice

i've had this refrigerator for about 2 years. it worked fine for the first year then out of nowhere the ice make froze over and ice had gotten stuck. i though maybe it was something that might would happen that one time and be cleared up after i cleaned it out, but i was wrong. after that experience it has happened at least once a month! i'm so sick and tired and going to get ice and nothing coming out and to look in and see the ice maker frozen over. after reading more about it and seeing more reviews with the same problem, i see there is absolutely no solution to this problem. will not be buying another samsung refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this fridge works just fine for our family of five. fits very nicely in our kitchen and looks sharp with the rest of the stainless steel and black appliances. only gripe i have is that it takes a few seconds to engage the ice maker once selected and depressing the lever. not the end of the world as we are not huge on "everything with ice." shop around for filters and be careful what you are buying as there are quite a few that seem to work, but end up leaking water everywhere. you'll know you have a good one when there are two rubber seals/gaskets around the filter nozzle. all in all, love having this fridge full and chilling - with very low noise (barely hear it on).
I would recommend this to a friend!

This refrigerator has been a disappointment from the beginning. we had trouble with the ice maker almost immediately. Now it doesnt work at all and the refrigerator freezes up having to be defrosted all the time.
