[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely Dissatisfied with the refrigerator. The icemaker is a problem. Ice builds up in the icemaker unit and when this happens, the door has to be opened for the ice to melt and then in 24 hours I can get ice. I am doing this 1 and 2 times a week. This is awful.

Multiple things broke within first 4 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator five years ago and have been very disappointed with the purchase. The ice maker is in the frig portion of the unit and we have to had to have it repaired twice because the warmer temperature in the frig causes condensation in the ice maker until it gets clogged and breaks. After it broke the third time we gave up and are using old fashioned ice trays. Compressor also died 4 years after purchase. Don’t recommend this model.

This model is a lemon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This particular model has been having all kinds of cooling issues. My refrigerator wasn't even two years old when these problems started. I had a friend who was going through these issues and was telling me the nightmare she was going through dealing with Samsung. I had just bought the same model and hoped it was a fluke but mine was doing the same thing. The ice in the ice maker was clogging up and frost kept forming all over it. I had to defrost it every 2 weeks!! I had the freezers set to 0 degrees but the temperature gauge on the left side would fluctuate from -10 degrees to +10 degrees, the right side maintained a constant +15 degrees. To get it repaired I was going to have to pay someone to fix it and then would have to get reimbursed since the appliance repair place in my area dropped the contract with Samsung due to the problems they were having with the company. Since I knew that it took my friend a couple of years and continual problems with spoiled food to get this resolved, I decided to just buy a new NON-Samsung refrigerator. The repair places that I talked to ALL said they have seen so many problems with Samsungs and highly recommended Whirlpool and GE. I immediately went out and bought a Whirlpool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like this fridge except for the icemaker. About every 10 days, it freezes up and quits making ice. I have to thaw it with a heat gun and push thw reset button to get it making ice again.

Horrible Experience

our home is filled with samsung products. we have had to nightmare fridges. top of the line, over 3k models. we have been without a fridge for over a month. picture no fridge during thanksgiving and christmas. this is the 3 rd visit to fix it. sadly its as if nobody cares. add a dis abled child to this fun. i am still waiting to see what they will do about the food we lost. my wife is livid... it should have been written off by now
