Ice Maker

the fridge is absolutely gorgeous. not made with genuine stainless steel but not the end of the world. multi function zones are the main reason i bought this fridge. those are all perfect. the problem that i battle every other week is the ice maker. seems to be a pretty common problem. huge ice clumps up and then you get no ice at all. the help chat says defrost it (with out a hair dryer) but they don't tell you how. in order to let my ice machine defrost i would have to leave my fridge doors open for hours with how big the ice clumps get. i checked all seals and they look great. you can't turn it off either to try and prevent that. real bummer. not sure if buy another fridge which is a shame considering i love samsung. i just cleaned it but will add photos next time.

Worse fridge

the worse experience and the most draining fridge finically i have ever had, samsung is expensive and people pay becuase of quality but this is the worse fridge i have ever owned, the compresor has gas leak, i paid 3 different technicin and i paid 3500 for this product, its only 3 years old. i called samsung they said they cant do anything without recipits but who keeps proof of purchase for 3 years even tho the compressor has 10 years warranty but u gotta keep the papers, other companies and brands give u code to register
anyways just buy different brand not worth then pain and suffering i suffered socu wont have

Standing behind product.

i have this fridge i bought in 2018 new from lowe’s. the ice maker is broken, the ice bin is not removeable it does not make ice at all. i have learned the ice maker has been recalled. i also have a freezer set for 0 deg., actual temp is via a temp probe is 30 deg. the felx section is 20 deg. higher. then it is set for. samsung cant or wont get someone the fix these issues. they are offering half of what the fridge sells for cause they cant get someone to at least check it out.

Bad refrigerator, do not buy it

really disappointed, as samsung is usually produces good products. this fridge issues since day one. it is mostly around ice generator, which is useless. it keeps freezing every 4-5 weeks, has a very low capacity. i think this is a design issue (to put the ice maker in the regular fridge section rather than freezer, it keeps melting). i miss my old, cheap kenmore, never had this issue, and was able to get buckets of ice out of it.

The worst

unfortunately, i have to agree with the majority of the reviews. this fridge is the worst. the ice maker is continuously covered with ice, so i can to remove it, the ice maker is extremely slow and we use alot of ice, and the water comes out like a drizzle. this is one of the worst purchases i have ever made and i am a fan of samsung products.

Would NEVER buy again

we have had this refridgerator fro about 4 years now. we have had the faulty ice maker fixed three times with repairmen actually telling us that this model’s ice maker is a lemon and everyone is having problems with it. we had resorted to “ice picking” the frozen parts of the ice maker that was preventing the release of the cubes. now we have just given up on it. totally worthless.
now all the cheap plastic storage bins that line the doors have all cracked. one is completely broken in half and i have to now order a replacment. what a joke. dont buy this refridgerator. definitkey not worth the money.

3 repairs while under warranty

we bought a 4-piece samsung kitchen suite expecting quality appliances. 50% of them failed within the first 2 years.
the refrigerator is on it's 3rd repair in less than 5 years. disappointing.
fortunately samsung is honoring the warranty repairs with a hassle.
