Defective ice maker

i like the refrigerator it is very attractive, but the ice maker is a problem. it stopped working after 2 years, samsung sent a repairman out to fix it, he replaced the ice maker unit and the motherboard. that fixed the problem and everything worked fine for about a year, but now it has stopped working again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible Ice Maker

we were very happy with the idea of the additional fridge space with this fridge. however, this was quickly overshadowed by the huge disappointment in the ice maker. we had it repaired shortly after purchasing. several months later, we had a part replaced in the ice maker. then, we had the entire ice maker unit replaced. the same problem keeps happening. it is icing up and stops working altogether, even though we have turned off the ice maker. i would give it zero stars if i could. i don't recommend this product!

We’ve had this fridge for only a couple of years and the thing is already toast. The freezer works but our fridge coils no longer cool. Pretty ridiculous for a 4 thousand dollar fridge to only last 3 years

This model has a terrible ice dispenser! it freezes up and you'll have to use a hair dryer to thaw it out. Samsung knew they had a problem and refused to do anything about it. There is a warmer installed to thaw out water lines that simply don't help

Ice built up inside ice maker and impossible to use when we want ice and if you still leave it for another week, Ice will built up even further and impossible to withdraw out the ice busker without the plastic to break apart.
