This product has a lot of space but it's a bit noisy

I love the design, it has a lot of space even for large payrex. The only critic is that you can hear it run the entire time. I still recommend this product.

terrible design. ice maker freezes up because it is in the refrigerator part and moisture gets in. mine is completely froze, five moths after warranty expiring.

Buyer Beware!!!

I've placed three service requests regarding the ice machine. For a $3000 refrigerator, I shouldn't be having this much difficulty. There are many others having issues with the ice bucket working that are posted on this site. I just had a two year Samsung TV go out today as well so no more products from Samsung....ever! It's really a shame because it has many features that we like.

When I saw this refrigerator at the store my heart jumped of joy. Finally someone made a refrigerator that makes totally sense comes to usability of the freezer. I have been through them all: bottom drower, side by side freezer with shelves and drawers and top or bottom compartment freezer and let me tell you, nothing really works.
If I could not access easily things in the freezer, and I could never, then food got sitting there for ages and ended being thrown out. Now when I saw this Samsung split bottom freezer with drawers and doors that finally makes for such an easy access that you just want to feeze!
If that was not enough I just want to hug Samsung for making it magical and allowing me to turn the right part of the freezer that is entirely independently cooled and accessed by it's own door to turn at my whim into a refrigerator when and how I fancy. That allow me total flexibility of how much of this unit will be a fridge and how much will be a refrigerator at any given time.
If that was not enough, the easy cool technology let me set the freezer part to refrigerator, place there my totally bone frozen huge piece of raw meat and have it defrosted naturally by the end of the day or next day if I fancy and that way I do not have to worry about dangers of meet spoiling or room in the fridge that would be lost for slow defrosting.
Like that was not enough, the drawers in the freezer makes everything so easy .. it is so easy to organize by foods or by frequency of use. I love the top trays drawers that have not front because I keep there breads and icecream that are used a lot so many times a day.
Pros: you can turn half of freezer into a fridge anytime, split bottom door easy access freezer, very bright interior, spacy lots of room in fridge and freezer, wonderful display features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] just after 1 year of purchase, the ice maker went out due to a design defect. now the fan is making a loud noise. i"m afraid the whole thing will go out next and it's not even 4 years old.

Ice maker issues

once a month i have to use a hair dryer to defrost my ice maker. i have used the silicone caulk to seal any moisture leak areas to no avail!!!!!!!

Ice Maker is total Junk

the ice tray fails to eject ice properly which causes the ice to hang onto the side of the ice tray upon ejection. the half ejected ice freezes together upon the next water refill attempt.
