Great Design

We love our new refrigerator! Once we plugged it in, it cooled down super fast and has kept perfect temperature ever since. The design is perfect for us -- we don't use the freezer that much but if we need to, we can make the Flex Zone a freezer area. And if we have guests, we can put extra serving bowls in the Flex Zone. It's nice that we can open just one door to retrieve most-used items, saving energy. The water dispenser works perfectly -- people who have complained about it probably held their glass down too low or removed it too fast. The ice dispenser works great, too. We think this model is super-attractive, both inside and out. The drawers glide smoothly and the lighting is nice. The interior does not look cheap like some others. And it's nice that there are no bulky handles to bump into. The black stainless finish is magnetic on both front and sides but we are not using magnets that we frequently remove because this finish can scratch. One shortcomings is a small ice capacity. This has not yet been a problem for us but it might be if we have guests. In that case, we will use the container provided to store some ice in advance. Two other shortcomings -- the container provided might be an egg container but it doesn't have a spot for each egg so we will use the egg container from our old fridge. Also -- no butter dish! So we will use our old covered butter dish so the butter doesn't get dried out. Overall though, we love it. Please keep in mind that we've only had the product for 4 days so I can't tell how it will perform over time. Important: Samsung (and most other manufacturers) advise you to wait for several hours after delivery before plugging in the unit -- if the coolant has not been allowed to settle, it can harm the compressor. Yet most delivery services plug in the unit right away. We waited about 18 hours before turning it on.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, four doors and flex zone, attractive
Cons: no butter dish!

I love my 4 door Flex Refrigerator

Lovely design, a great counterdepth refrigerator. The 4 door feature is very useful, the controls are easy to understand & operate. Very happy with the purchase.

Had our samsung Counter dept frig delivered today 1-23-2016 and delivery service was great. It is super quit as it is running to cool down to the proper temp all automatic to factory specs. It is more than expected in space for its size as we need more frig space than freezer space. This is very good for our needs. Great job Samsung.

Worked great until the ice dispenser completely froze over

I have had this refrigerator for approximately 7 months and it has been great up until..... the ice dispenser completely froze over. For the amount of money spent on this refrigerator, this is not impressive to me at all. I have owned several refrigerators in my life and this time I chose to splurge and spend more $ on a more high tech unit. Unfortunately I am already starting to regret the purchase. The sticker price and brand name led me to believe I was buying a forever fridge... or at least 10 good years. It didn't even make it through year 1. The most disappointing thing is that I am now seeing tons of reviews where this is being reported as a common problem that may eventually take over my entire unit. At this point I would rather just get my $ back and purchase a different brand. Now I have to wait for a warranty tech to mail me parts and then come repair. I sure hope this doesn't become the norm for this buy.
Pros: climate control freezer section, led lighting
Cons: Poor quality, too expensive for the quality
