What a mistake I made

Yes this refrigerator looks great however quality and reliability sucks. First I had problems with the ice maker freezing up on the outside. This issue took 1 year to resolve with numerous calls and no results until June 2017. Now The freezer's compressor failed and its only 2 years old. It's now 1 week with no freezer or ice. I have an elderly resident here with no resolutions from Samsung. I have been told by not only an independent service advisor as well as Samsung's technician the best and most inexpensive and fastest way to resolve this issue would be to replace the entire unit ASAP since the dual compressor is a "sealed system."
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dents so easily

I bought this fridge to outfit my kitchen with the new black stainless. However, I am wishing I did not go with this product. While the capacity of the fridge is nice and the counter depth is what we wanted, this fridge dents so easily. A chair runs into it and it has a new dent. I really wish Samsung would fix this problem but they told me due to being out of warranty, that it would cost me to fix it. But the product does not stand up to daily wear and tear and the material is the problem. I am not talking about constantly running things into it but a children's toy or chair should not cause the dents that they do. I have never had a fridge with this problem. I hope Samsung will fix this problem for me and for future buyers.

Beautiful refrigerator with a terrible ice maker

While I do enjoy fixing things on occasion, it had never been my intention to become a refrigerator repair person. Life is too short to spend hours of your precious time on earth fighting with a dysfunctional Samsung ice maker. Whoever designed this contraption should be brought up on charges of criminal negligence. This is not the first time the machine has refused to dispense ice cubes.
After having spent far too long with the hair dryer trying to melt whatever was preventing the front from "gently sliding off" I am giving up and going to buy ice trays.
It's really a shame, since the appliance is beautiful and works well in all other departments. If they offered a refrigerator without an ice maker (which takes up a LOT of space) I would buy it in a minute.

Fancy features do not work.

ISSUE 1. Ice maker is always clogged with ice - often without a single ice cube in the ice tray. ISSUE 2: Cannot turn of the "replace water filter" light. I changed the filter. Followed online instructions. No use. BOTTOM LINE: Pretty with fancy features - but I am replacing it after one year due to frustration with non-functional features. ICE IS IMPORTANT! P.S. We also bought the fancy Samsung clothes washer that has the exploding glass top. WHEW!
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Organization for Ease of Use

Purchased this fridge 3+ months ago and we love it. The 4 drawer setup makes it easy to organize the various foods in its separate compartment and then open just the door you need. The flex feature is handy as we use it mostly as a fridge, but we have tried it as a freezer and it does its job. It looks great and the recessed type handles is very comfortable to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ICE MAKER

The ice maker needs to be recalled and this issue solved. The cubes jam-up and block the storage bin. Maybe it doesn't shut off when the bin is full. I have to break up the blockage every month and have a ice bag on hand which reduces the freezer space. The refrigerator drips and makes noises.

Horrible quality

this refrigerator has a great design. the quality is horrible. ice maker freezes up. our unit is 2 years old and hasn't worked for 2 months now. samsung can't provide the parts needed to fix it.

Ice maker is awful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the fridge itself - but the ice maker is awful. it has been replace under warranty once and less than a year later it is leaking inside the fridge, and the ice doesn't get really hard frozen.
