Great Refrigerator and Great Idea

Not many homes use a freezer these days and we're one of them. So to have the 3rd bottom quadrant act as a fridge is brilliant. I wish however, that they could make some more space by getting rid of the ice maker bin on the top left part of the refrigerator. Maybe some families don't need that much ice? Overall this refrigerator is great. Very quiet (except when it gurgles) and very good space for a counter depth refrigerator. Hope it lasts a long time!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, quiet, design
Cons: ice maker too big

Other than water dispenser, it's perfect

This fridge is awesome. Spacious, bright, clean, and it actually fit through the 29" pocket door opening in my original 1953 kitchen. The only thing I could ask more from this appliance is for the water dispenser to not drip for about 45 seconds after every use. I'd even settle for 20. It has done this since installation. The installers said, "That's common. Dispense at least 2 gallons through there to properly seat the seal and remove all air from the line." Well, 8 gallons later, it was still dripping after every use and does so to this day, 3 month's after purchase. Luckily, we have great tasting tap water, so we weren't ever planning on using the water dispenser anyway. Unfortunately, I've read this is an extremely common product defect with many Samsung refrigerators.
Pros: fit's through narrow 29" doorway, beautiful finish, bright interior, flexible freezer settings
Cons: water dispenser leaks after use

Great unit, excessive bubbling near icemaker, may be a filter issue. Touch screen somewhat difficult to navigate, otherwise clean look.
Pros: easy to clean
Cons: Too big, somewhat awkward side vents are easily blocked

Superb product

We really shopped around before selecting this fridge. It had the right mix of features, size, and appearance to suit our kitchen upgrade. After living with it for a while, we couldn't be happier with the choice. The lighting and adjustable shelves are great conveniences and most of all the ability to convert one section between fridge and freezer is a home run. Superb fridge.
Pros: features, no smudge exterior, convertible fridge/freezer, lighting, adjustable shelves
Cons: slight water gurgle when running

4Door Flex Zone a plus

Enjoying my new refrigerator. I was limited to a counter depth due to limited space. Lots of compartments for a counter depth 23 CU model. I prefer the 4 doors with a flex zone where you can change one side of your freezer to a fridge if needed, plus the freezer has several drawers, instead of one hug drawer where you may have to dig for an item that may be at the bottom.
Pros: Realistic color, 4 doors, flex zone, black stainless complements existing appliances
Cons: fingerprints/smudges easily

Noisy New Fridge

Very disappointed in the sound our new Samsung Black Stainless Steel refrigerator makes. Tech support just told me the noise is normal for this model. It is caused by refrigerant gas moving through the pipes in the refrigerator, as the refrigerator cools or freezes our food. It also might be air bubbles moving through the water tank of our water dispenser.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent refrigerator

I can't say that I am the most learned of refrigerator shoppers, but we had an allowance to choose our own appliances with our new home purchase. I ended up with a crash course. We had friends who warned us about the problems with the drawer freezer in french door refrigerators, so we were very wary of them. The french door models all looked very nice but we had a second issue - our space was shallow so we needed a counter depth fridge. This meant we would lose more fridge space.
Enter this model - it had the perfect solution to both of our issues. It has two regular upright freezer panels down below. Even better, one of the panels (the bottom right) can switch to become a fridge instead of a freezer. Since we don't usually keep lots of frozen items, we just turned the lower right space into a drink fridge, freeing up tons of room in the main fridge.
All of the functions work fine but I really think that this design is very good for addressing the two issues we had. I suspect that there are lots of people with similar restrictions, so if so, I would look closely at this model.

Easy access to both the refrigerator and the freezer compartments. Love the dual compartment, French-door like, freezer design. Like the fact that the one freezer compartment can be used for either a freezer or refrigerator, when extra refrigerator space is needed. Ice maker worked well from day one.
Pros: Bright display
