Everything we need!

This refrigerator it perfect for the house and family. It fits in well with the other stainless steel appliances. The adjustable shelves are very nice. The water and ice feature works very well. The flex zone is great because we use more fridge space than freezer.
Pros: Realistic color

Great features and looks

We have only owned this product for a month, but so far it is outstanding. Starting with the looks, beautiful, never thought I would say that about a refrigerator. There are too many features to name them all. The lighting is great, controls on the door are easy to use and convenient. The four door feature is great, right now we use the bottom as freezers. Keeps a steady temp in frig and freezer. It does show some fingerprints, but not as bad as regular stainless. Great buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Afraid to shop!

As our kitchen is smaller, it took us a long time to find a refrigerator to fit, and still leave room to move about. (that was 15 years ago)
We knew our old unit was going to need replacing, but were reluctant to start shopping because of the time involved in finding something that fit our space and needs.
Then the counter-depth designs began showing up.
We began checking out the offerings, Consumer Reports, and owners ratings and chose 3 brands to explore.
When we got to the Samsung, we knew we had found the one.
With the smaller footprint (smaller than our old unit) and no handles sticking out (even better than our old unit), positive close doors (important with grand-kids in and out) and the flexible freezer/refrigerator space, (we already have a freezer) this answered MANY needs; some we weren't even looking for.
When you open the doors, you can see everything inside! (no more groceries hiding behind eachother)
Since this unit is not just a compressor, thermostat, and timer, we opted for the extended warranty, but expect to get many years of service from our new Samsung!

Love love love the design! The four doors make it so convenient. The flex control is great for keeping items colder than the rest of the refrigerator.
I went with the black stainless and it is very cool!
I will recommend it to all my friends! Very happy with it!

Plenty big for the two of us. Love the upper doors. It has more room than my side by side fridge. The finish is awesome..very modern but not as clinical looking as stainless steel. Shows a few finger prints on the handles but they clean up easily. It's quieter than any other fridge I have had. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it. I am looking g forward to change g all my appliances to this brand and color

Cons: would have liked a detailed manual

Counter Depth with loads of space!

We bought this refrigerator to replace a 20+ yr old one in the house we bought. We wanted counter depth because a kitchen remodel couldn't make more room for the fridge and we wanted it "tucked" away. The options are great (third door being a freezer, soft freeze or a cooling zone). It is a five star appliance with the exception of two design features we think could have been improved.
While it has a lot of interior room for its outer dimensions the usable space on the french door upper section is limited due to a 1/8 inch difference between the glass portion of the shelf and the support frame around it. This doesn't allow you push cans/bottles/containers of smaller to medium sizes all the way to the edge. It would have been better if it was one continual surface from edge to edge of the shelves in the french door refrigerator (upper) section to further maximize the usable space. The freeze and 3-way zone area shelves do not have this problem and provide a lot of space for freezer items.
The other design issue that we would prefer to change would be the double lever in the ice/water dispenser. While the height of the dispenser is awesome (you can fit a 2 quart pitcher in it) we would prefer to have the selection of ice or water be determined by a button on the control center instead of having two levers at the dispenser itself. The kids always push them both and get more than they bargained for. This is really a "picky" complaint and is mitigated by having mom or dad getting ice/water for the little ones. The dispenser drips after getting water out and crushed ice can make a mesh of the dispenser tray but we simply wipe it out after each meal. We have been told this will diminish over time but so far it has not.
All in all this is an EXCELLENT appliance and we love it!
Pros: loads of space, well lit interior, precise temperate & humidity controls, hides fingerprints, low profile handles, attractive design
Cons: water filter a little tricky to replace, no dedicated deli drawer
I would recommend this to a friend!
