Good refrigerator, horrible ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] good counter depth fridge. Layout is not the best, but OK. The ice maker is another story. The design is fatally flawed. We replaced the unit (didn't work) and the tech made a modification. How it dumps ice into the hopper, just plain doesn't function right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge- A Few Things odd about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this fridge a few years and had little problem with it. One thing is one side of the freezer is cooler than the other...just is, weird. Another Is a design flaw in the ice maker. The water lever ( chrome) is below the ice, so when you hit ice, it strike the water lever, leaving scratches in it. But it’s been good...love the fridge part.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE THE DESIGN ICE MAKER ISSUE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 4 years ago. My favorite feature is the flex compartment. If i have family over, we set as a chiller for beverages. When we buy a lot of meat is back to freezer. We changex diets many times and the design provided the flexibility needed. The ice maker stopped working soon after we bought it and my local repair shops did not know how to fix. It is still broken but we like our fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fridge but the drawers are awful! There is a gap on the bottom seams of the drawers where dirt and food gets stuck. Very irritating since I love nothing more than a clean refrigerator.

Best looking fridge out there

I constantly receive comments from guests about how cool the fridge looks and how well it fits in as a counter depth fridge. I wish the ice maker would dispense ice a bit more smoothly, but other than that it's a great appliance.

Samsung makes some good products but not this one

Were told by several folks that this model Samsung fridge isn't very good, we returned it and bought another brand

Beware the ice maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is great, looks good and works good. The ice maker is another problem. Every week I have to disassemble the ice maker because it frosts up and jambs the ice from dumping into the ice bin.A pain in the button!! It was explained as a design flaw, they shouldn't have put the ice bin in the refrigerator.
