Beautiful look, poor quality product

the refrigerator is beautiful. the ice maker repeatedly stops working, at least 2 times per month. it freezes up & creates an ice build up all around that we have to thaw out just to get it to work again. the positioning of the water & ice dispensers creates a mess. the water dispenser leaks water, creating a buildup in the area that should catch droplets of water. the freezer started rattling loudly & when checked, all the food was thawed out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor quality materials

after 6 months normal kitchen use, this fridge turns out to be a disappointment that i regret buying. i originally bought it for the flexzone system, and this is indeed a useful feature and a big positive. my problem is with the quality of the stainless steel. the steel is so thin that the fridge picks up dents like no appliance i have ever had experience with. i don't know whether it's only the quality of the steel or a design fault in the way the steel is wrapped on the door with inadequate internal backing. the denting happens even with the fridge in an unexposed location and everyone trying to be really careful. i'm thinking it won't be many months before i can't stand to look at all the dings anymore and the fridge gets relegated to the garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator unless you want ICE

the overall performance of the refrigerator has been good.
the major issue has been the ice maker - it worked for the first couple of weeks and then has not worked since. going on 5 years now. we have filed multiple warranty service calls - no less than 4 for the ice maker.
ice maker constantly freezes over and becomes one giant block of ice. will not make ice cubes or crushed ice.
we have had a couple of technicians come out, to repair the issue, and each time the ice maker works for a couple of days and then becomes a block of ice again.
and of course as soon as our warranty expires we get word that there is a replacement unit to fix our issue. and it is a total replacement of the ice maker - go figure - spend more money to get it to work.
our advice - stay away if you want ice

Samsung flex counter depth

Fridge is actually quite nice and sleek. Love that it is counter depth. I did some research on the issue with the ice machine freezing over. The top was to slightly adjust the front legs higher than the back. so far, so good. The benefits of having the ice maker in the fridge, rather than in the freezer, is the taste of the ice cubes. They are as close to restaurant style cubes as you can get. I no longer taste all of the foods from the freezer! Really nice fridge thus far! 4 stars as fingerprints still occur quite easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the fridge 5 months ago. I have been happy with it. We like using the flex space as a fridge since we have a chest frezzer neat by. The finish is easy to clean, we got the black stainless steel.
