Pretty but hate the ice maker

we have had this flex frige for 2 years and the refrigerator has been just fine. however, the ice maker freezes up all the time. the only fix is to get a hair dryer out to unthaw the unit and then wait a few weeks until it does it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish I would have known !

I bought my refrigerator 11 months ago. Overall it has been great, but the icemaker stopped working. After going round and round with there customer service at least a dozen times, I was told I was outside there service area and they couldn't help me. In addition the stainless steel front dent very easily, My wife opened the door to the refrigerator as I turned around with a cardboard box and it dented the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

refrigerator works great and looks great, but the ice maker is the worst. enough ice for about two people. i will keep it until it will not run anymore, but i would not buy this one again.

Looks nice, horrible ice maker

we have had problems with the ice maker on this refrigerator since it was in our home only 2 months. its now completely unusable. we had warranty service and it worked for a week. the ice maker freezes up constantly and becomes a huge chuck of ice. samsung won’t repair it again because we are out of warranty. this is a widely known issue with this ice maker and samsung won’t repair and stand behind their product. i guess its time to file a bbb complaint.

Refrigerator died after 2 years

refrigerator died after 2 years. called samsung, the took 2 weeks to get a technician in. the first one said it was a sealed system problem, covered by warranty.
took another week to get the sealed system technician in.
he said that the sealed system is contaminated by compressor.
samsung would replace or refund. he called samsung and they said fix it, becausea apparently its a new directive.
i heard the technician say that’s crazy.
so now i’m am stuck with a flawed refrigerator that cost $3000.
i will also put a review in costco where i purchased this machine.
if this is the way samsung treats theur custmooers, please donkt by their appliances.

Ice maker / water dispenser

refrigerator is less than 2.5 years old. ice maker has failed twice. first time it was in warranty. terrible design if it is going to fail every year. customer service is horrible as well. waited over an hour to speak with someone, finally gave up, not to mention the incredibly annoying message that was repeated over and over saying "please stay on the line we will be with you." will never purchase samsung refrigerator again. i would not recommend this product.

Excellent Design, bad ice maker

this refrigerator has an excellent design, good refrigeration, good features, but unfortunately it has a badly malfunctioning ice maker, which ruins the usefulness of it. please find a fix for it and replace the ice makers in this model.
