Great counter depth fridge!

Read lots of reviews and did my research. After it all, considering function, reliability, and design, we eneded up with this four door fridge. Things are laid out very well. So glad we bought this fridge!
We figured losing some space due to being a counter depth might be an issue, but not at all. In fact, we've found we use up most of our food/left overs because they dont get lost in the back, etc. All in all I'd highly recommend this fridge. The protective coating on the stainless is great also with little kids around. Our previous stainless was getting marked all the time....and thus cleaned all the time. This is a quick wipe.
Only real drawbacks we've noticed so far is the veggie/cheese drawers don't have real tracks. There's wheels which rest on a ledge. Kinda a short cut from Samsung. It allows the drawer to move side to side due to no tracks holding the wheels in place. Not the worst but can be a bit annoying. Second is the water spout. It shoots back slightly at an agle, not straight down. On a short to medium glass it hits perfectly so it splashes upwards and possibly out of the glass. Gotta wonder if Samsung techs actually tried the water diedpnser.
Other than that, this fridge is top notch. Quiet, efficient, clean, and very good looking (had many, many compliments) Highly recommend!!!

Love my new Refrigerator

I especially like that I can make 3 compartments refrigerator and 1 compartment a freezer, as it is just my husband and I at home now. I have now had my refrigerator for over a month and I mentioned to my husband that in the past when we got a new refrigerator, I was always happy to have it, but by the time I had it a month I would always have at least 1 thing that bugged me that I wished were different. I thought It was funny that I have no such complaints for this one. It is easy access, I love the stainless steel finish, and I prefer the french doors on the bottom to the pull out so much better.
Pros: Bright display, good value, bottom compartments can be both freezer or 1 & 1

We purchased the counter depth model because where it will be located. Didn't consider that when the doors are open they extend beyond the side of the refrigerator box. We could not push the unit all the way back to the wall and open the left doors because there is a wall next to it. Keep this in mind if you have limited space on the sides.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display

with my new refrigerator. It was just installed today and I'm trying to get ONE with it. One small concern. The user manual is not user friendly. Example: Does the ice bin come out? What should I set my humidity controls to for optimal efficiency? Why can't I get the freezer to the prescribed temp (-2 degrees but won't set below 10 degrees)? Little kinks that I'll call customer service about.
It's BEAUTIFUL and I'm so happy to finally have platter space during the holidays.

4 Door Fridge

We have recently moved into a new home and purchased this fridge to compliment our new kitchen. I was worried about downsizing from a 30 cubic ft. down to a 23, boy was I surprised, I needn't have worried at all. This sleek and very stylish counter depth fridge packs a very large punch. It's smaller capacity has been no challenge at all. I admit that I am a food pack rat and hate to through things away, however I am able to stash just as much into this fridge as I was in my previous one. I also admit that I am a SS junkie, with 2 small grandchildren and a dog. Smudge/finger print free living is absolutely the way to go. I honestly don't know how I survived without it. I love the convenience of being able to switch one of the freezer compartments into a standard fridge, for any over flow during holidays and parties. I rarely write reviews, yet I felt this "little" fridge deserved a serious pat on the back. Thanks Samsung designers, you hit a home run on this one.

AMAZING REFRIGERATOR

After if was delivered and while we were waiting for it to cool down, all of us could not help but open up the fridge and just admire it. When the delivery man plugged it in, I didn't think it was running, it was so quiet. I figured we will see tonight when the house was quiet. With the super cool mode on, all the compressors running, you could barely hear it running. When the ice maker is filling with water, I could hear that just a little louder than the compressors and when the ice falls into the holding tray, that was hardly detectable as well. With three kids, seven and under, the no fingerprint finish is great. I still get a little smudge on the trim and if a little piece of ice stays gets left in the dispenser area, it leaves a mark, but it cleans off very easy. I wanted a full depth fridge, but my wife insisted on the counter depth model, (the first we ever owned). It has been two months and I can't believe how much that makes a difference. Everything is easy to find, nothing lost, food is getting used instead of hiding and mutating. This refrigerator is amazing. Some of the shelves slide back on themselves in half, to store large items. The entire inside is illuminated, but not blinding. It is taking a little getting used to having another fridge compartment on the bottom right, but I changed the setting,which is very easy, and it keeps meat, dough, pastries, butter, and beer at a perfect 30 degrees.
Pros: Durable, quiet, transforming changeable shelves, looks, easy to change modes

Love the Design

Once upon a time, I used to own a tired, old, and noisy side-by-side GE Profile refrigerator. Thankfully, those days are behind me as my family is enjoying the Samsung French Door refrigerator. It offers greater flexibility and storage capacity and is cosmetically a sexy kitchen appliance!

I was surprised on just how much the freezer held. I like the idea of having the lower right portion of the unit be used as a freezer or regular frig.
