IceMaker is terrible!!!!!
on December 18, 2022
Posted by: NOMOSamsung
from Boston
The ice maker absolutely STINKS! We use the hairdryer every 30-60 days to clear the ice jams. Their stove is also terrible, with a low gas smell and unreadable display.
Like their TV though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK Refrigerator Horrible Ice maker
on March 22, 2023
Posted by: GotIce
I have had this refrigerator for about 8 years. The fridge and freezer parts work fine. Have not had a problem with them. I am about to replace the ice maker for the 3rd or 4th time. The unit tends to freeze up and block the ice drop. Samsung recommends defrosting the refrigerator to resolve. All in all I wish I had just bought a GE.

Hi there,
We know how important having ice available anytime on our refrigerator. We are here to help you with your ice maker.
If your ice bucket is stuck and won't come out, don't try to force it too hard. A little gentle wiggle should be all you need to shake it loose. Most have a trick to them, like a particular angle to pull at, that makes it a lot easier. Some models also have a button or lever to release the ice bucket. Please check the links below for details.
The ice bucket is stuck or has a block of ice: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001791/
You can also do a test or reset your Samsung ice maker: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01207806/

Purchased in 2015 and the Ice Maker is awful! Replaced motor 3 times, have to defrost (which means emptying the fridge) at least every two months. It drips water. Great looking, really liked the functions but not having a functioning reliable ice maker in Florida is not worth the money.

Good Day,
Effectively using the fridge to its full potential is necessary, Luro. We'll help you make sure your unit is working correctly.
To ensure optimal performance, we strongly advice setting the temperature to 0 °F (-18 °C) for the freezer and 37 °F (3 °C) for the fridge. Leaks can occur outside the refrigerator, or you can have an auto-fill water pitcher that is also leaking.

Horrible product

If I was able to give a zero star review, I would. This refrigerator works great except for the fact that the ice maker keeps breaking down. I've had one fixed under warranty and another out of pocket. $450.00 for a repair on a part that is known by the manufacturer to be faulty. Do yourself a favor and buy a better brand with better reliability.

A true nightmare, RUN, don't walk!

If I could give this zero stars, I would! This is the worst refrigerator I have ever purchased. Worked great for the first year, then......icemaker locked up constantly! Fought that battle for a few years. Finally had a service company attempt that fix to now have the refrigerator (top portion) continuously stay between 45 and 50 degrees because the line just frosts over and then stops cooling. It's a shame because I love the look and sleekness of this appliance. Stick to TV's and telephones Samsung because your refrigerators are horrible!
