Love this Frig

I just purchased this French Door refrigerator about 3 weeks ago. Love the design and how bright the inside is. The only thing I am not happy with is the ice maker. It has leaked and frozen the ice bucket into the compartment. I can't remove it nor will it dispense ice. Waiting on the repair guy to see about replacing the ice maker.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: ice maker

We bought this to replace a unit from another manufacturer that had served us faithfully for 21 years. So to some extent it seems way too early to write a review. I'm like, "Hey, let's wait a few years and see how reliability and services pans out." However, doing that won't help other buyers who need to know *now* what might be a good unit.
That all said, we're very happy so far. The freezer section is a good 60% larger than our previous fridge, meaning that I'm now wondering whether I really need to be running the little chest freezer that lives in our basement. I think I can fit everything in this fridge. The front-display for temperature is handy, and scratches the compulsive data gathering part of my personality. The ice maker and and cold water dispensers have been working well, and it makes ice at a very good clip. The top shelf that can flip aside to make way for tall items has already proved its value in that we could flip it up and chill our Thanksgiving wines before dinner and then flip it down to store the leftovers afterwards. The handy extra chiller drawer has become the cheese and lunch meats home, which in our home is a central role that it fills admirably.
A good review should always include some negative attribute, because nothing is truly perfect in life. But the only thing I can think of is that the stainless steel surface shows fingerprints. That, of course, is true of *any* stainless steel appliance so take that for what it is worth.
Recommended, and very pleased.

Tons of room for my family of 6

I first discovered this fridgerator while dog sitting for a neighbor for a week. After being able to use her fridge during that time I fell in love with it and all it's features. My neighbor has had hers for years and still loves it. When I asked her if she recommended it she said yes! It is so roomy and I love the extra long and deep bottom drawer. The freezer also has a little shelf on the door where we can store our freezer packs which makes it so handy to find instead of digging through the freezer for them. Would highly recommend this particular fridge.

We purchased this appliance as part of a package of 4 Samsung appliances for our kitchen remodel. We have front load washer and dryer appliances from Samsung and have been pleased with them, therefor we chose this brand for our update.
This unit required removal of the front door to bring it into the house but we were prepared for this.
The freezer drawer is extra big with an extra drawer inside. the drawer pulls smoothly and it is easy to see what is in the compartment.
The refrigerator area is roomy as well.We slide back the shelf to be able to put our tall pitcher into the spot which is a big plus.
We can get 2 milk jugs on one shelf on the right side door which comes in handy for a big family. However, the door slots on the ice maker side are very small and only able to accommodate small condiment bottles and jars. We purchased a small lazy susan for the top shelf to meet our needs.
The unit is very sleek!
Overall we are pleased with this purchase.
