Waste of Money. Do Not Buy

First issue i had was less than 2 years after, of course the warranty expired. Fridge/freezer temperatures arent accurate. and as of about a week ago my freezer decided it prefers to stay at about 55+ degrees and my food all went bad and water piled up in the freezer. Would not recommend.

Terrible icemaker

while we like the layout of this appliance (fridge upper and nice drawer is appreciated) the icemaker has been continually problematic ever after being repaired once before. water leakage, ice dams, wet watery ice are what you get here. my other samsung (side by side) is awesome, so i think the product design on this is just a lemon.

i have this refrigerator and have had nothing but problems with it since i got it. the ice maker always freezes over and will not put ice out at all. shelves are hard to remove for cleaning.

ive written several reviews and they never seem to bet posted..here we try again. looks great, keeps things cold, ice maker is horrible, water dispenser works sporadically. look at another model, or another brand.

One (1) year parts and labor.
Five (5) years parts and labor on Sealed Refrigeration System Only (Compressor, Evaporator, Condenser, Drier, and Connecting Tubing).
Ten (10) years part and Five (5) years labor on Digital Inverter Compressor Only

since we bought it we have experience condensation to the point where we have to defrost it at least once a week. right now it stopped producing ice completely. really bad design.

we have had this model for three years, and the interior is not staying consistently cool, getting as warm as 50-60 degrees even though it's set at 34. it makes an annoying buzzing noise, and we have to defrost it about every two months at this point. even when the fridge is working, the ice maker jams up regularly. we have had a (expensive) service person look at it, which helped for about 5 months, but we are now back to fully defrosting every two months. it's dangerous to have a fridge that isn't consistently cool enough, though it's maddening and unsustainable to have to consider buying a new large appliance when this one should still work. according to many other sources online, this is a significant problem with this model for many, many people.

love the refrigerator, but, the ice maker freezes up and samsung knowes there is a problem and does not take care of the problem. i can not see me buying another samsung appliance again

Ice maker freezes over

i would not recommend buying a samsung fridge. the ice maker freezes over. i've tried thawing it with a blow dryer and it will help for a week or two, but then it starts freezing again. even tried turning ice maker off, buying a different ice maker, and filling the samsung but it will still freeze up.

For the ice maker to work properly, water pressure of 20-125 psi (138-862 kPa) is required.
