Overall it’s good . If I didn’t have to fight with the ICE MAKER . The tray would get stuck because a block of ice would prevent it from coming out . Eventually I could see that ice block would just grow with time .

Since Day 1 have had ice maker issues. Funny we bought it because the amount of ICE the salesman said it made in a day. Had the whole icemaker replaced worked for about 30 days back to no ice and freezing up. Now I have a loud fan noise and whole refrigerator seems to be warmer than normal. Ticket number 4169558569 to resolve. I will not be buying a Samsung to replace unless they recall this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Avoid like the plague.

The ice maker stopped working out of warranty and Samsung didn't want to fix it despite being a known manufacturing issue that resulted in a class action lawsuit. We replaced it with a newer model with a different kind of ice maker that had a similar issue out of warranty yet is not part of said lawsuit. Done with Samsung, they claim they make quality appliances but ours have been anything but.

Do NOT buy this poorly engineered product. There's known icemaker and cooling coil heater issues that plague the product. I'm now researching how to tear the refrigerator cooling coil apart because of a known heater coil issue that keeps the fridge portion from cooling properly. Stay away from Samsung refrigerators because they don't stand behind them.

Left door stays open, unless FIRMLY shut
on April 5, 2023

Unless you FIRMLY close the left hand door. It remains open. Food gets warm. I’ve had this refrigerator for about two years, and I say: “I hate this refrigerator.” 3-5 times a week. I intentionally swing the door shut, and it does not close. I return, a bit later and it hadn’t latched. The need to FIRMLY shut it interrupts my cooking continually. I have gotten so messed up by this that I am now boycotting all Samsung products. Do they not do any usability testing? This shortcoming would easily indicate something about ALL Samsung products.
Oh, and the ice maker is the slowest EVER. But it ices up frequently, so I don’t know which is more irritating.

If the refrigerator or freezer doors do not close, it will impact cooling performance and eventually create frost. This guide will walk you through inspecting the gasket and roller bars and how you should store your food.

When you see a pool of water (or one that froze into a sheet of ice), it can often be attributed to condensation or a spill you didn't notice. The most common place to see the water is at the bottom of the compartment, below the vegetable or crisper drawers. Leaks can occur outside the refrigerator, or you can have an auto-fill water pitcher leaking. Depending on where the leak comes from, we will show you what steps to take to find the cause and keep it from happening again.
