Terrible Product

We have had this refrigerator less than 10 years, every few years have to have someone come work on it because the top DOES NOT KEEP TEMPERATURE. The ice maker has never worked properly, freezes up constantly. I would strongly discourage anyone from buying a Samsung appliance going forward.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good but bad warranty and known issue with ice mak

after a few years the ice masker started freezing over and had to be defrosted like once a month. very annoying and well known issue that Samsung ignored. I wouldn't buy again

Worst appliance we have ever owned! Thank goodness we had 5 yr coverage. Temp display reflects in correctly - frig turns off randomly and temp displays do not reflect actual temperature. Have to turn on/off to get fridge running. After 4 frustrating years we were reimbursed.

Poor ice maker and difficult to clean. I replaced the icemaker once and refuse to do it again. Not much better than our old Kenmore. I won't buy another Samsung refrigerator.

The worst fridge in the market.

I inherited this 2014 Samsung refrigerator when I bought the condo. It broke 3 times in the past with over $1,600 in repairs. The ice maker never works and has a manufacturing defect. Starting in 2019, the fridge started to leak. The moisture content in the fridge is high causing all my food to spoil after just one day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Badly engineered fridge. Never worked

Could be better for the price

Not the usual Samsung quality. Ice maker is terrible. It leaks, and does not produce a sufficient amount of ice to make it through the day for a family of four. The water dispensed comes out warm.
Besides that important aspect, it does everything else well and provides sufficient cooling power. All my appliances are Samsung, but I will be more careful in the future when buying Samsung products because this one left me highly disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
