Disappointing Refrigerator

As many others have noted, the ice maker freezes up and has to be thawed out constantly. A hair dryer is required to completely melt. This refrigerator has been a huge disappointment. The fact that Samsung is aware of the issue but has done nothing about it is very disappointing. We will no longer buy any Samsung products until we feel confident they will stand behind their product and its performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible!!

This is a terrible refrigerator!!! It stops cooling yet the temperature on the door reports it is working correctly. Whenever I notice frost on the items inside the freezer I know it has stopped cooling. I have to reset the refrigerator by flipping the switch on our fuse box. Sometimes I have to reset the unit daily. I also put a thermometer in the freezer to track the temps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

avoid this refrigerator and save money

Repairs started after 5 years. Every 3 months ice build up over fan and evaporator coil which in turn makes fridge not cool below 50F. It is repair after repair lot of money through the drain. I would avoid this refrigerator if I can.

Worst ice maker ever!!!

Love the size of the fridge and the freezer, but the ice maker has been nothing but trouble since the fridge was purchased. Always freezing up.
Disappointing since so many people recommended Samsung for appliances.
Currently in the market for a new fridge just because we are tired of using ice cube trays in a fridge that shouldn’t require that, but having a hard time considering Samsung or Dacor just given the experience with this fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible. Ice maker is faulty! Do not buy!!

DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR!! We have had this fridge for a little over 6 years and the ice maker has broken 4 times and now won’t work at all. What a waste of money. I’ll never buy another Samsung product!

Worse Refrigerator I've Ever Owned!

Worse Ice Maker Ever. I have resorted to buying ice cube trays to have ice. The ice maker gets iced up and won't produce ice. I have 4 friends that also purchased a Samsung Refrigerator and ALL have problems with Ice makers. This fridge will be going into my garage as a spare and am buying a different brand for my kitchen.
