Great style & features for price

I was very hesitant to by a Samsung fridge. Maybe it is just me and knowing the old Kenmore/Whirlpool/GE/Maytag brands that have been in the appliance business for a long time. However it seems that most of the appliances we saw at various box stores was Samsung, LG, GE. Did a lot of research and had found lots of good things about all and also a few problems with each. Since they were all pretty much comparable to each other in features and price it came down to overall styling. We went with the Samsung because the lines are more eye pleasing and the interior shelving seemed to be layed out slightly better. We have had this unit for 3 weeks. So far the screen for the ice/water/temp is tempremental. It dings every time you switch cubed to crushed ice or water which is fine. At times the touch screen stops working and you are stuck with what ever it is on. Good thing I was able to reach behind to the outlet to unplug it for 10 sec. If my outlet was located in a different spot would have been more ticked off. Multiple nights now I have heard the thing switching cubed /crushed ice or just dining and showing the temp in irratic spazums. Every couple seconds or 30 seconds or 10 minutes would go into a dinging friendsy. I have had enough and will be contacting customer service.... IF customer service can take care of this professionally, quickly and as painless as possible I would continue to recommend. Otherwise I will have to say to stay away.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: ice/water display with a mind of its own!

This refrigerator is spacious, convenient and the hidden hinged handles are sleek. It looks nice in our kitchen and was a good price.

I love how quiet this refrigerator is. It looks good, functions exactly as it is supposed to. The lighting within the fridge is very bright. Best of all if you accidently leave the door open for a few minutes or longer it will start beeping at you to close the door.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive

We purchased this product after comparing several models. We went ahead with Samsung despite having heard of bad experience of one of our friends (9+ years ago ) assuming quality issues might have been addressed.
This met our expectations and works quietly. We like the snack bin which is very convenient. Also compartmentalized freezer is very helpful in organizing frozen foods - bulk vs small packs.
We hope it lasts long time like previous one (of different make and model) with no issues...
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to organize, quiet
Cons: can't think of any

I love this refrigerator. The bottom freeze has more room than top freezers and the food can be easily accessed. It also has a drawer. The center drawer is so versatile. It can be from time to time to store what you are going to use the most. The French doors are convenient so you do not have to open the whole door. I really love the water and ice in the door. I would

Love the Flex Zone Drawer!

Got this refrigerator after my old refrigerator of 22 years died. Love the space, flex zone drawer and the ice maker/water in door. Having the freezer with drawer on the bottom is great.
