PREPARE TO CLEAN AND CLEAN

This is a VERY nice looking Refrigerator and spacious....but....the ice cubes that come out are SMALL and sometimes shoot ALL OVER THE FLOOR if your glass isn't TIGHT up against the dispenser. And the Stainless shows EVERY little fingerprint, unlike the Stainless one it replaced. I also think that the interior glass shouldn't 'fog up' every time I open the door. I've read thru the manual and cannot find a possible solution.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, ice maker inefficient, stainless shows every fingerprint
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We enjoy the extra drawer which we are using for Deli items. It saves a lot of steps getting what we need for snacks. The interior seems to be well designed and sturdy.

Flawed ice maker design

Looking at other reviews the major problem is with the ice maker which I have also experienced 3 times. The one time I just reset things and it started on its own. The other two times it did not work until I blew a hair dryer on high into the mechanism. The problem is that things freeze together then it ceases making cubes. From another review they said that air was getting into the area from a crack within the unit. In my case that is not the problem as that area is solid, I guess it could be coming in from the front somehow. Otherwise it is a pretty good fridge and way to expensive for this known problem.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: ice maker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY

I've had two repairman over to fix the ice maker and both have said I should not have purchased a Samsung refrigerator due to the amount of problems they service. They also told me it's a bad idea to buy a refrigerator with an ice maker in it. They said the ice maker should always be in the freezer, because when it's in the refrigerator warm air gets inside of it. Then it builds up ice around the ice maker due to that warm air. If you buy a refrigerator please learn from my mistakes and get one with an ice maker in the freezer.

Poor implementation

The ice maker on this machine is horribly designed. Apparently it was created by a graphic artist and not an engineer. It freezes up, leaks water, and is just plain unreliable. The flex-zone drawer is almost as bad. The control panel on the drawer doesn’t work so now the drawer is basically a freezer that doesn’t reliably freeze anything. Since this is supposed to hold veggies this is really horrible. It freezes enough to destroy your produce but not enough to keep ice frozen if you want to store some since your ice maker is likely not working.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Known design issues with this unit. Google back wall ice and Samsung Refrigerator and you will see what I mean. These are faulty units . DO NOT BUY . Look at all of the bad reviews
