If you enjoy throwing money in the air, buy this refrigerator! After 2 problems I’m pretty much done with Samsung appliances. The ice maker on this fridge is the worst design I have ever seen. It will frost up and turn into a complete block of ice inside of 3 months. Back to ice cube trays... really? Run from these appliances - my dishwasher leaked on the floor after a year as well, easy fix for that one, not so much the ice maker...
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker is a known issue

Bought three years ago and now the ice maker makes only slushy ice, water leaks out the ice path due to the slushy ice buildup in the path. Known issue with no fix except replace parts that don't fix the issue

Do Not Buy!

We got this unit about 18 months ago. Ice maker started freezing up 3 months ago. Looked it up online and it is a problem with Samsung refrigerators. I have had to use a blow dryer to thaw it out several times, but it doesn't last long before the ice maker is frozen. Now the fan is making noise. Other reviews claim that this is also a problem with these refridgerators. Eventually enough ice will accumulate that the fan will stop completely and ruin the food. I'm very dissaapointed to spend over $2500 on a refridgerator that is already out of warranty and prone such problems.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do Not Buy If You Want an Ice Maker

I would love to give this product a great review. But I can't because of a known design flaw the Samsung has know about and has failed to correct. A quick internet search will confirm that the ice maker is poorly designed and will fail within months. I have a towel inside the refrigerator and in the tray under the ice dispenser to soak up the leaking water. Samsung knows about this issue and has not provided complete solution.

Incredible space with adjustable cooling

I bought my new refrigerator last week and absolutely love it. It has adjustable shelves with lots of storage options. The flex zone is perfect for cheese and lunch meat that you use frequently. The freezer on the bottom is also great with lots of room. With lots of great lighting inside, I can always find what I need! Great product!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable

This refrigerator fits the needs. French doors are well made. You can open or close either door at any time. There is plenty of room. If the kids leave the door open for a while there is an alarm and a button to push to rapidly cool the refrigerator. The center sliding drawer holds and keeps cool case sodas. It can hold a lot. You can adjust the temp for wine, deli, beverages or meat. The freezer is large it also has an extra sliding drawer that holds small items. If I were to tell you what I think of this unit, I would not hesitate to buy this as a wedding present.

Terrible ice maker

We have had this model for about 4 years and have found that the ice maker is the absolute worst part of this refrigerator. The milky-colored ice I can live with but the auger that moves the ice from the bin breaks most of the whole pieces into little chunks so you end up with half pieces, chips, and a few whole cubes. That is only 1 problem with the ice service. The other major concern is the slow speed at which the ice is dispensed. Clink, rrrrr, clink, rrrrr, clink, etc., it takes about a minute to fill a pint glass.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
