Great feature

I truly love the bottom of this French door refrigerator it seems to have more room at the bottom then most.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: need more room foe gallon size products.

We've only had this unit for a few weeks, but so far it has treated us well. We really wanted to go with the large four door convertible zone fridge, but we were not able to fit it through the door to our home. There was some concern that this fridge would not fit everything we wanted it to due to the ice maker (we have not had a through the door ice maker in the past) but it offers a good bit of space. The large drawer in the middle has worked really well for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice maker failing

I tried to communicate with Samsung that our refrigerator ice maker was malfunctioning and was referred to a technician who stalled helping us until the warranty ran out at one year. Ice maker is constantly malfunctioning and has to be reset and freezes over. Disappointed in Samsung product and service.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy a Samsung appliance

Samsung needs to stick to phones, TV sets and computers. Refrigerator construction is terrible. Have had the RF4287HARS for 3 years. Started having trouble at end of first year. Plastic shelves for doors are cheaply made, cannot hold more than some light weight items or the shelf falls out. It cannot be securely replaced in the shelf and continues to be a "falling out" problem, and eventually cracks. Same with the freezer drawer! Also, there is an intrusion of water into the freezer over the last 18 months. I have to remove the inner drawer and melt / get out a layer of ice to be able to close the drawer. The ice forms in a sheet along the bottom and I have removed some pieces that are 3 inches thick towards the back. Two other persons who have a similar Samsung refrigerator have the same complaints on the quality of the performance and construction!
Cons: Poor quality, poor construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it but you can't place tall things on the main shelf on both sides. Only on the side where you can push the shelf half way , other than that I love it
