Since Black Ink is the most used, it makes sense to use the XL cartridge, thus reducing
the time that one must spend doing printer maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no problem with the ink quality. My problem is the delivery time and notification process. I purchased the four cartridges for my printer. One was empty and two was low. After installing the empty cartridge, I got a notification that one of the low cartridge was damaged. I'm glad I purchased the other cartridges or I would had to make another order. I am very disappointed.
