[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one in April,had to replace it already. Didn't last a week! Took 6 weeks to get it replaced. Don't know if I would recommend this to a friend. We'll see how this one works. Tried to register it on line, that didn't work either.

Better than I thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator about 2 mos. ago based on reviews we read about. Out of our 4 previous refrigerators we've purchased in the 39 years we've been in our home, this is at the top of the list. Temperature maintenance, fruit and veggie bins are great and provide longer lasting food storage. A great buy.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Not keeping cool.

Worked perfectly for 1 year and then it would not keep temperature consistent. Remote diagnostics didn't work as featured and LG repair costs too high. ABT has been out 3 times and still a problem. You need to monitor it daily or it gets too cold or too warm. First and last LG for me.

No drip tray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In general I like the layout of the fridge. We ran into an issue early on when a bad smell was coming from behind the fridge. Thinking something had spilled I went to look for a spill tray and there is none. Any excess condensation/ defrost water ends up in trays that can only be accessed by removing the back of the fridge. Even then the small trays are impossible to clean. After the first incident we put all packages of meat on cookie sheets to be sure nothing could get down into the fridge. Vacuumed out dust, cleaned with bleach. Smell still comes back when it is hot and new water shows up so we realized that defrosting water of any kind ends up there to stagnate and the smell blown around by the fan. How hard would have been to have an accessible tray under the fridge??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old refrigerator died after 17 years and I bought this LG as a replacement. Good reviews on Consumer Reports caused me to check it out. This model is so much better organized and I seem to have MUCH more room, also can see food better. My only negative is while the overall unit is very quiet...the icemaker is loud when it cycles. I would definitely recommend this model!
