I will never purchase again

I purchased this iron a few months ago, and the iron stopped working. This is my second time purchasing the exact iron. The first time it did the same thing, but I just thought I would try it again. The iron never make it to a year. The face of the iron is very sticky and messes up clothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this iron for the smart steam feature and have to say it didn't disappoint! Love it! I used it on my husband's work shirts that are always wrinkled and the results were fantastic.This is one powerful steamer. Works great on regular ironing as well. Glides over the fabrics alot better then my old fashioned iron! Would definitely recommend this iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this iron! It yeast up quickly and has just the right amount of steam. It's settings are very accurate and I don't have to worry about messing up my laundry now.

This is a great iron when it is working !

This is the third one of this model purchased ! I am old fashioned and don't wear anything unless it is ironed , so I expect an iron to work properly as I depend on it . This is not an occasionally used iron . Another big problem with this iron is it leaks brownish water on your clothes, which is what prompted this feedback . The reason I went with this classic iron is because it looks just like the one my mom had when I was a kid and it lasted forever , but as with all modern products , it seemed they are designed to fail rather than designed to last ! I guess that sells more products . Great iron when working properly .

It doesn't even work!!!

This iron has a mind of its own!!! Doesn't matter which way I laid it, the power indicator flickered green but then turned off right away. Couldn't get it to heat up! Brrrr. I'm returning it to get a different brand. How disappointing!!! Used to be my favorite!!!

Loved this iron for the first month but than it stopped steaming now the water won't stop leaking when I iron. It dripples out every other min. Even when there is barely any water. Not too happy.

Used to work, but now it leaks.

This iron is a few years old, and I love the way it steams and irons, but now it won't hold water. The water just leaks out of the bottom immediately after being poured in the top.
