We purchased this unit first and foremost because LG is one of the few manufacturers that offers no ice/water in the door. We do a lot of entertaining and the french doors along with the generous space and ease accessing of food and drinks without getting into each others way was a slam dunk. I bought this same style fridge back in 2004 (& an LG Plasma T.V.) and still has not failed me! I

Had to find a fridge that would fit into the smaller space I had available, and this one is fantastic. Very quiet, keeps things very cold, and I love the bottom slide out freezer - I always had the top ones before this.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

We have only had this refrigerator a short time, but both of us love it a lot. We are retirees, which means it it getting hard to get down low. It is so nice to see what is in your refrigerator, without getting on your knees; plus, the freezer and ice maker are in a perfect place. It is very quiet and performs well. We hope it will continue to do perform well into the future.

I like this refrigerator because it is quite silent and has enough space for a small family. It looks great - very sleek and stylish. The freezer section is also very spacious.

Died 10 days after warranty

Fridge was working great however, 10 days after the warranty had ended, the freezer no longer worked. Complete waste of money.

Nice Fridge

I needed a certain height and size for my small galley kitchen and since there aren't too many French Door refigerators this one fit the bill. I love the crispers and the glide n serve draw. I use water to clean it since I found from past experience on other stainless steel appliances that cleaners leave a film.

Surprising Capacity

We bought this refrigerator sight unseen on the strength of the high rating at Consumer Reports and we could not be more pleased. We were very constrained in our choices by the size of our space and this fits perfectly. The inside is much roomier than I had imagined and I was able to adjust the shelves to accommodate everything we keep on hand and I still have room for "extras". It's so quiet we can hardly hear it running. So far we're extremely pleased.

LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the fridge installed a month ago and we love it. We have our fridge against the wall so being able to have the French doors on top was really important for fitting larger items. We love the adjustable shelves, and it has fit a lot more than I expected since it is a smaller fridge. I definitely recommend it!
