GREAT REFRIG....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace an old refrig. Was not cooling.. The LG is great.... It is quiet, excellent cooling, great lighting, stylish, white color gives a dark kitchen some help in brighter kitchen......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator a month ago as part of a kitchen remodel. We particularly liked this model due to the combination of features and relatively narrow width. It arrived in good shape and only took three or four hours to cool after start up. One thing I read in the product reviews that did not effect our buying decision was the mention of noise. I can confirm that this refrigerator does indeed make some loud buzzer sounding noise when the compressor kicks in; particularly in the first few weeks. We still get an occasional, loud buzzer sound but it is not too bad. Everything seems to be fine relative to keeping items cool or frozen. One aspect that we have not tested is the ice maker. That will happen soon.

Met and exceeded expectations..almost!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the refrigerator for about 6 months and it has been very reliable. The temperature settings are automatic and easily changed. The style is stunning and compliments our decor. It is much quieter than our previous refrigerator and the soft motor sound is rarely heard and never distracting. Everything is as advertised. Our only suggestion is to improve the door closing mechanism for both the refrigerator and freezer area. They both require a rather firm push to fully close. I'm assuming the door open "chimes" are there for this reason. But there have been a few times when the doors have not fully closed - like when we had an armful of stuff and try to close the doors with a shoulder shove or a with a hip-check - and we were out of earshot of the chimes.
All in all a well designed and very reliable addition to our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the easy visibility of everything and the little bells to let you know you've had the doors open too long. I like the bright and clean look of the shelving and drawers. I like the handy middle wide drawer for easy access.
Sometimes the light does not come on right away after opening the refrigerator door. This is minimal.

I needed a 30" fridge due to height restrictions, but didn't want to give up too much storage space...this fridge allows me 22 CF which is more than any other french-door fridge I looked at:) I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Stays Cold After Power Outage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator fit in the space I had, or I would have gone bigger. Having said that, interior space is very good - adjustable shelves and no obstructions - allows efficient use of the space. Due to hurricane Irma, we lost power for 28 hours. I have Thomas Scientific digital thermometers to monitor the interior temps of both the freezer and the refrigerator. Under normal conditions, the temps hold consistantly with the control panel settings (0 and 37). During the power outage, I observed that it took 24 hours for the freezer to rise to 28 and the frig to 56. I never opened the freezer, and only a few times the frig, during the outage. At the 25th hour, I got this box plugged into a generator, and lost nothing in the freezer. So, I am pleased with the performance under normal conditions, and especially so, after a long term power outage.

Great Product - Excellent Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product since mid-April 2017. I very much like the open door alarm and that it is very quiet. The pull out freezer on the bottom is much better than the old Side-by-side I replaced. It keeps ice way better (no metallic taste or odor) - I make my own ice from spring water (bartender sized 2-inch cubes) and the filled ice bin will last me about 2-months.
