Sure enough, this refrigerator does everything I hoped it would, include keeping food longer and keeping it better organized than my old frig. It makes great, clear ice, it is quiet, and it looks good, too.

As people who enjoy cooking, we tend to keep the refrigerator packed; therefore, extra space and the configuration of that space was an important deciding factor. We love having the extra room (up from a 19 cu ft) in the refrigerator. We have found that the interior holds everything we need and more. All of our condiments and odd items even fit in the spacious door racks. We also like that since we take items more from the refrigerator than freezer, it is more accessible on the top. We were pleased to find that the bottom freezer holds far more than we expected. The unit keeps temperatures in both units quite well. Finally, it is whisper quiet. We hardly even hear the ice maker fill or drop ice. In all, we are quite pleased to have made this purchase and to have chosen an LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because of overhead cabinets, I was limited in my selection of a new refrigerator. My old side-by-side was 3" wider than my new LG. BUT, this french door LG refrigerator has much more usable space than the old side-by-side. The shelving is flexible and the drawers offer much more usable space for meats, veggies, etc. And the freezer is VERY spacious...a large frozen turkey can fit with room to spare. This model was top-rated by a national consumer products review organization and I can well understand why.
