This is a Happy Refrigerator

I now am the proud owner of an LG Refrigerator for 6 months. I am very pleased with it. It keeps food fresh for a much longer time than my former refrigerator. It is a happy refrigerator. I open the french doors and behold, bright lights which seem to say welcome! I can see all the items without bending or twisting to see what I am looking for. It holds a lot of food items more than my former refrigerator. The ice maker is convenient and plentiful. The freezer is well thought out and easy to use. Lots of room, too. The water dispenser is well placed and the water is fresh-tasting. All in all LG is a great refrigerator and I am well pleased with my purchase. I give it a five star rating and a big WOW!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Couldn't love it more

When researching this model, I found mixed reviews. I took a chance and purchased it and have no regrets. It's surprisingly spacious...the extra wide drawer in the fridge is a great idea...no more taking up shelf space with a pizza box. For the money, I don't think I could have done any better.
I never thought I'd be able to have a bottom freezer in my small space, let alone French Doors. This refrigerator is 30" wide and fits the bill perfectly. I can't believe how much room there is inside. Love the 3rd drawer! Shelves are all adjustable. Can take one out temporarily if you need to. No more bending over to see what's in the fridge! And the freezer --- I can find things so easily now!! Over a month later, we're still saying how much we love it every time we open it!! And it's very quiet! (We did not have the ice maker installed. No need for it right now.)
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Loving my new LG
on October 15, 2014

I had a traditional freezer on the bottom fridge but I was always on my hands and knees trying to see what was in the back... With my new LG.. the pullout door pulls both bins out into full view... no more stooping and bending!!! The spillsaver shelves keep the mess on one shelf when accidents happen... and I can get more in the two door bins than I ever could in the more traditional one door (other brand) model!! I couldn't be happier!!!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

First it fits in my 32 inches, the stainless is supurb. Have had it now for a month or so and the ability to organize our food to our life style is just outstanding. It is quiet, ice maker is excellent and just wish we would have purchased this product much much sooner.

Love it

After a TON of research, and reading every single review for this refrigerator and a few others, I decided to buy this LG french door fridge. I have only one complaint, like I had read in other reviews, that there is no area in the fridge for tall items/bottles. My solution, which I did not want to do, was to remove one of the half shelves, and put it in the basement. Now, I can put the tall items in there. Otherwise, love it! It's quiet, beautiful, and fits in my very small kitchen!!

Perfect refrigerator for tight spaces

We have been looking for a french door refrigerator for a quite a while but we had limited space issues. This model fit perfectly. It has the right amount of shelves and drawers in the refrigerator and with great lighting - we can find everything quickly and easily. The entire inside of the refrigerator is free of controls or ice makers which gives us lots of room for all our needs. I think one of the best features is the door alarm that warns us when we forget to close the door completely. The pull out freezer has pull our drawers that keep everything safely inside while still making it easy to find things. The ice maker was an added bonus - something we were not really looking for but, we appreciate having it there now that we have it.. And on top of all the great features I listed above - it is quiet and so easy to keep clean. Thank you LG for a great product at a price we could afford.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, noise level - very quiet, easy to clean, great lighting, door alarm is a great idea

Makes room for the left door

We had a larger side-by-side in this location before and the freezer door wouldn't open properly because a wall next to it. The frig is narrower and allows the left door to open almost fully. We have only one complaint, like I had read in other reviews, that there is no area in the fridge for tall items/bottles. Our solution, like others, was to remove one of the half shelves, and put it aside. Now, we can put our taller items in.
