The temperature is consistent throughout the interior. I Love the French doors they open above my dogs heads so there aren't any nosing around for them in the frig anymore!

Ice Maker worked fine for several years, quit about 2 years ago. Have replaced valve assembly, Ice Maker assembly, works OK for 36 to 48 hours. Input tube freezes solid, no known remedy. Defective design apparently. Sour taste in my mouth for LG products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never thought twice about a fridge - any fridge. Because until this one, no fridge has ever died on me. The compressor went out. Thankfully, it was still under warranty and I have a great repair person who was able to replace the compressor and get my fridge working again, for far less than it would have cost to replace the fridge. LG is known for having compressor issues (which I did not know when I purchased this fridge).

We went with LG Kitchen Appliances because of our success with our purchase of our LG Washer and Dryer two years ago. Because of the French Doors on top and freezer on the bottom, it is a difficult change from our previous brand, but it is still a good design and we are getting used to the change.
