When will LG provide a decent compressor?

I purchased this refrigerator in February of 2019, and it stopped cooling on Labor Day 2022. We had wisely purchased an extended warranty from the store, and a technician was able to come right away. He said that the compressor had failed. In reading reviews, I now know that LG compressors are not reliable. We lost a refrigerator and freezer full of food, and although we'll be reimbursed $200 per the warranty, it doesn't come close to reimbursing what we lost, especially during these days when inflation is such a problem. We loved the refrigerator, and its large capacity is a plus. However, going forward, we will be vigilant in checking to make sure that it's cooling, because we know that one day, this compressor will fail as well. Will not buy LG in the future.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This came with a townhouse I purchased. I could not have been more pleased because the unit keeps food at appropriate temperature and has so much space. Shelves can be easily cleaned and adjusted to accommodate all items.

We bought this almost a month ago and found that it fits perfectly in our space for it which was not easy to find. It has so far filled all of our hopes. It is larger in capacity than our old refrigerator and having the freezer on the bottom makes it much better for me. I cannot bend down well. I can now easily see what is in the refrigerator without bending down. We use the refrigerator much more than the freezer making my life so much better. The freezer has more than enough space for all we need.
