Given the fact the compressor died after 5 years I would never buy another one of these

This LFC22770SW refrigerator model wouldn't come with Wi-Fi Capability however it does work with SmartDiagnosis™, which is a LG ThinQ® app on your smartphone that can be used to perform a Smart Diagnosis of your refrigerator and connect you with our customer support should there be any issues! It sounds like you're referring to the Craft Ice cubes that are round! It appears that this unit does not have the capability to have craft ice maker capability.
