Failed LG Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator 8 years ago and it failed in less then 10 years
My repair man said he repairs alot of LG refrigerators
He did not recommend this brand

great till compressor went out, everything spoiled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the compressor went out .... lost a fridge and freezer full of food. Up till then I thought it was a great fridge. Now I wonder why the compressor went out on a fairly new unit.

These products have short life downs and make it very difficult repair. There was already a class action for the compressors and I wish my grandmother knew that before buying it
