Best apartment investment

It does the job well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this little guy after discovering mold in my basement, which is about 555 sq. ft. It quickly brought the humidity level down, and consistently keeps it within the range I specify. It has also worked really hard during some basement flooring renovations where I power washed the entire basement floor. It's has performed better than I expected - within 36 hours the basement floor was completely dry, including some wood paneling that got wet. Impressive for such a little dehumidifier!

Wonderful home dehumidifier

compact, quiet, and easy to adjust settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] replaced another brand that only worked for a year; much better humidity control set at 45%, use a 1/2" I.D. plastic tube to drain continuously into a sump that was already connected to forced hot air furnace & air conditioner; when 50% indicated, return fan from high to low; after a rain storm return fan to high speed to bring down humidity from 70%.

Just the right size for our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn't be happier. My wife and I are in our seventies and find the 30 pint size easy for us to handle. We have to remember to empty before going to bed at night because if the unit fills up in the middle of the night the alarm will wake us. Yes, we had that experience.

Failed after 1yr

Avid review reader, not an avid reviewer. However, I thought to offer caution to others considering this dehumidifier. After a year of working it got a failure code and turns off after a few moments. It will not turn on. Attempted to reach out for service/warranty information to no avail. There was no warranty and the service cost more than the unit itself. Very disappointed I’ll have to find another one
