Excellent Dehumidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dehumidifier to replace an old unit that was really showing it's age. The difference between this Frigidaire and others that we have owned is amazing.
To start with, the appearance of this unit is sharp, sleek and contemporary and fits so well in almost any setting. You can't help but notice the uncompromising quality in the construction of every part of this right away, and you feel like you have purchased something that will last a very long time. It just feels so solid and substancial. The controls are well placed and are very easy to learn and to use, which is always a plus. The very occasional maintenance that is needed is very simple and quick and takes no time at all to do. The container that holds the water collected is very easy to remove, carry, empty and replace. It is a very efficiently running unit. which really helps on keeping your electric bills down.
If you have ever owned a dehumifier, you know that one of the biggest things you have to consider when buying one is exactly how much noise it produces when running. We are very happy with how quiet this particular one is, even after reading all of the complimentary reviews by others. We find that running it with the fan on the low, the quietest setting, moves more than enough air around even in a big room, and believe this would be all most situations would require. And it's not just exactly how loud it is that matters, but also the type of sound that an appliance makes that is important, and this one makes what seems like a smoother sound that doesn't sound harsh at all to us. It is very easy to live with, and that is a big deal!
Lets face it, writing a review as long as this does take some time and thought to do, but we were happy to do it, because there are some products out there that just deserve to have good things written about them, and this Frigidaire is definitely one of them. We couldn't be more pleased with this unit and believe it to be the very best dehumidifier out there. Not one of the best, but absolutely the best by a good margin. We don't think you can go wrong with this one!

So worth it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My basement was so damp I had to buy a dehumidifier and the Frigidaire fit the bill. Compact, quiet and within a few hours not days my basement was much drier and there is no more mold growing which is extremely important. I would recommend this dehumidifier to anyone who might have a room or moderately sized basement. It gets the job done!
