Great buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product to help with a "musty" odor associated with my sky light. Since it arrived and began working I've noted that the smell has gone. Everyone in the family has been surprised at how much water has been removed from the air, and we are all enamored of the better smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large bathroom with no vent fan and with 4 people showering I had a problem with mold and the moisture never going away. This dehumidifier was exactly what I needed; it has solved the problem. A lot of great features from a fan speed, humidity setting and a timer. Wish I would've purchased this sooner.

After running it for a few days, 24/7, the unit's efficiency seemed to improve, gathering water more rapidly. However, unfortunately the sound level also increased. The noise greatly disturbs my wife of 50+ years despite her significant hearing loss.

Does an amazing job!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to use in my 31 foot Jayco travel trailer. Without humidity control, fighting moisture and musty odor was a full time job. After this wonderful little machine took over...it stays dry and smells fresh ALL THE TIME!!! I hooked up the constant flow hose option and ran it through a small hole in the floor. I never have to dump it and leave it on automatic constantly. SOOOOOOO glad I bought this unit.

It Does What We Wanted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of our full-time RV experience we came to the Seattle area during the early winter rainy/extreme humidity (can you say "monsoon") season. After just a few days of condensation covering the inside windows and aluminum window frames of our 38 ft. motorhome, we researched and purchased the 30 pint unit. It took a few days of constant (HI) operation to dry the motorhome and contents out but, this de-humidifier has admirably maintained the humidity at 35-40 percent at an interior temperature maintained in the 65-68 degree range. In fact a separate, remote humidistat indicates that it may be too "Low" for the corresponding temperature.
Positive features of this unit are: 1) Attractive styling; 2) Easy to remove and empty water catch tank; 3) Relatively quiet operation; 4) Easy to clean lint screen; 5) Easy to operate, lockable control switches...especially handy when you have a large cat, as we do, that uses it for a launch platform and can alter settings if left unlocked.
Inside the motorhome we do not use the drip/drain hose feature but, having used de-humidifiers in years past in single family homes, this would be easy to hook up.

Removes humidity, runs too much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Removes humidity as advertised. Seems to hardly ever turn off, even when humidity level is below target. I find myself having to manually shut it off often, which is a pain and probably wastes a lot of electricity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm glad to hear that the dehumidifier is removing humidity as designed, Jiabgwh. Once the unit has reached the set humidity, the compressor will turn off; however, the fan will continue to run to make sure that the humidity level doesn't go above the set temperature.
