So Far, So Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for my Mom's basement apartment, where she resides. It IS extremely humid in the summer in upstate NY. She has another one that works fine, but it is SO NOISY that it is now in another room!!
After reading the reviews on this one, we decided to buy it. It arrived on time and we put it to use immediately. It's only been a month but so far she is very happy with it. It has an auto shut off and has to be emptied every 6 hours. It's QUIET and works efficiently for the room size of 550 square feet.
I did buy the 2-year extended warranty for her after reading some of the reviews, just to be on the safe side. The price was exceptionally reasonable.. I also ordered a humidity monitor for her, which turned out to be an excellent purchase! It shows the humidity % in the room, the high, low, and current %'s of the daily humidity level and temperature levels. She is beyond happy with the entire purchase.
I will update this review if anything should change in the future. Again, it's only been 1 month, but at this point, I highly recommend this product! It's SO quiet compared to the other one she has and that in itself is a big plus for us.

Nice Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dehumidifier for about a month and it has met my needs quite well. It is being used in a stored RV and the heat and humidity in VA has been horrible this summer. It is taking the water out of the air and I see no signs of white mold that has show up in previous years with this heat.

Great dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier because the one (another brand) I had previously for 2 years promptly stopped working. So far this one seems of a higher quality. The drain hose area is excellent, you can attach any garden hose to it if you need to get extension to a basement sump drain. Just screw it on, no leaks! Love that it's pretty quiet, while it pulls the humidity out of the air. None of that roar for the condenser kicking on like my previous one. It's so easy to maintain, just clean the filter when it prompts. The configuration is great too. you can turn it sideways to fit your placement needs as the air intake is on back panel and the outflow is on one side - not front/back like other models.The cord is longer too. Which is great because in an older house the basement doesn't have outlets just everywhere, like the newer houses do. I bought this very recently, I have great hopes for it lasting and being reliable. Pleased with my purchase.
