Needed help in my basement to get that musty smell eradicated. My central air conditioner works fine for the upper levels and keeps the house nice and cool. However, we had that smell of mustiness still permeating our furnished basement. My office is there and a family room. Placing the Frigidaire dehumidifier in the main area of the basement, with a hose connected draining into the sump pump area has made our basement totally pleasant for spending time down there. No more musty smell. Thanks for a good product that works well.

Concern with life of product

I got this to replace the frigidaire dehumidifier that I purchased a year ago that stopped working. Only complaint I have is that this is the fourth dehumidifier that I purchased since they all only lasted a year to eighteen months.

Purchased this unit a couple months back - plugged it in and forgot about it - except of course to empty the water because I haven't purchased the little hose to connect it directly to the drain. I guess I can't comment on that feature yet but the rest of it is just plain simple, no hassle dehumidification.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this product because I notice a lot of moisture on my windows and I started to see black mold on my windows. So when I goggled what can I use to get rid of moisture this product came up I bought a 70 pint dehumidifier from my local hardware store and a 30 pint dehumidifier and with in 3 days I was breathing cleaner air and my moisture problems were gone. I was so happy with the product I went bought another 70 pint dehumidifier.
